Enable Hellhound Spawning in BetterNether Biomes

Hellhound Compatibility

If you're using both Bewitchment and BetterNether mods together, hellhounds won't naturally spawn in BetterNether's custom biomes by default. This data pack fixes that incompatibility.

What Happens After Installing

Hellhounds can now spawn in BetterNether biomes alongside other hostile mobs. This makes the Nether feel more cohesive when using both mods, and gives you access to hellhound drops in more locations.

Finding Hellhounds

Explore BetterNether biomes at night or in dark areas. Hellhounds spawn like other Nether mobs—look for them in open spaces and around lava. They're more common in certain biome types, so explore different areas to find good spawning grounds.

Combat Considerations

Hellhounds are dangerous opponents. Bring fire resistance potions or wear appropriate armor. Their increased presence in BetterNether biomes means the Nether becomes more challenging, so prepare adequately before venturing out for extended exploration or farming.
