How to Craft a Mistcloak and Metal Armor

Mistcloak

A Mistcloak is the signature wearable of an Allomancer. It is a shaped crafting recipe, so the arrangement of ingredients in the grid determines the result. Gather the cloth and metal components the recipe calls for before you begin, then craft it and equip it in the chest slot. It is cosmetic-leaning but completes the loadout alongside a Bronze Earring.

Aluminum Helmet

Aluminum Helmet is the only armor piece in the registry. Craft it from Aluminum Ingot using a shaped recipe. Aluminum is a light metal, so smelt Raw Aluminum into Aluminum Ingot first, then arrange the ingots in the helmet pattern. Wear it in the head slot when you want protection without the weight of heavier armor.

Rounding Out the Kit

Pair the Mistcloak and Aluminum Helmet with a Bronze Earring, a Koloss Blade or Obsidian Dagger, an Allomantic Vial, and a Coin Bag. Store spare ingots as Aluminum Block, Bronze Block, or Steel Block so your stock is compact. If you burn Aluminum, keep a separate reserve of Aluminum Flakes in a vial so you do not accidentally consume your armor material.
