Find and Catch Regional Variant Pokémon

Locating Regional Variants

Regional variants in All the Mons are distributed across specific biomes that match their characteristics. Unlike standard Pokémon, these variants spawn only in particular environments, so you'll need to explore deliberately.

Start by checking biomes that feel thematically connected to the variant's type. For example, ice-type variants appear in snowy and frozen biomes, while fire variants favor deserts and volcanic areas. Cherry blossom forests host their own unique regional forms, as shown in the mod's screenshots.

Catching Strategy

When you encounter a regional variant, treat it like any standard Cobblemon catch—use Poké Balls and weaken it first. Regional variants may have different stat distributions or typings than their base forms, so check your Pokédex for updated information on their strengths.

Keep moving between different biome types to encounter variety. The mod ensures all regional variants are obtainable in survival mode, so persistence will pay off. Consider setting up a base camp in a biome known for variants you're hunting, then make supply runs as needed.

Check your Pokédex regularly—it tracks which variants you've seen and caught, helping you identify which biomes to explore next.
