Understanding Mistransformation Events

The reworked alien forms in this mod are unlocked through rare mistransformation events rather than standard progression. Each time you transform using your transformation device, there's a small chance the event will trigger and grant you access to a special form like Big Chill or Echo Echo instead of your intended transformation.

Maximizing Your Chances

To unlock these forms efficiently:

1. Transform repeatedly during gameplay—combat, exploration, and mob encounters all count as transformation opportunities

2. Keep transforming even after failed attempts; each transformation roll is independent

3. Stay in survival mode where the mistransformation mechanic is active

4. Use your transformation device frequently in different biomes and situations to accumulate more transformation attempts

While the mistransformation chance is low, persistence will eventually grant you access to Big Chill's ice-based abilities and Echo Echo's sonic wave powers. Once unlocked, these forms become permanently available in your transformation roster, allowing you to switch to them at will during future gameplay sessions.
