Getting Straddlite

Straddlite is the base material for a set of rideable gear. You need Block of Straddlite as an intermediate — craft it from Straddlite, then break it back down or use it directly in shaped recipes.

The Three Pieces

• Straddlite Saddle — the mount saddle.
• Straddlite Tack — the harness that pairs with the saddle.
• Straddleboard — the rideable board itself.

All three are crafting-table recipes using Straddlite and Block of Straddlite. Build the Saddle and Tack first, then the Straddleboard, since the board is what you actually ride.

Using Them

Equip the Saddle and Tack to your mount, then deploy the Straddleboard to travel. Keep spare Straddlite on hand for repairs or replacements. If you plan to ride often, craft a Block of Straddlite and store it near your base so you can quickly remake any piece that breaks.
