How to Use the Combiner to Build Materials
What the Combiner Does
The Combiner is the recombination step. Where the Dissolver and Atomizer break material down, the Combiner takes elements and builds them back into a usable material. It is the machine you use when you have raw elements in storage and want a specific output.
Running a Combiner Recipe
Load the required elements into the Combiner and let it process. The mod includes a dedicated combiner recipe type, so the machine reads its own recipe set rather than a generic crafting grid. That means the inputs must be the exact elements the recipe expects, in the amounts it expects.
Feeding It Reliably
- Keep a buffer chest of each element next to the Combiner.
- Use hoppers or pipes to insert inputs so you are not hand-feeding every batch.
- Pull finished output into a separate chest to avoid mixing it back with raw elements.
Where It Fits
Run the Dissolver and Atomizer first to produce elements, store them, then feed the Combiner from that storage. The Combiner is the payoff of the whole chain: breakdown on one side, rebuild on the other. If a Combiner recipe will not start, check that every required element is present in the correct quantity before assuming the machine is broken.
