How to Set Up the Dissolver and Atomizer Chain
Build the Dissolver
Place a Dissolver and feed it the material you want to break down. The Dissolver is the entry point of the processing line: it takes input and produces the elemental components you will route onward. Keep a chest or hopper feeding it so you are not standing there inserting stacks by hand.
Route Into the Atomizer
Send the Dissolver output to an Atomizer. The Atomizer further reduces incoming material into the elemental form used by the rest of the chain. From the Atomizer, pipe or hopper the output into storage so you can pull specific elements when a recipe calls for them.
Practical Layout
- Dissolver first, Atomizer second, storage last.
- Use hoppers or pipes between each block so the chain runs unattended.
- Label or sort your output chests by element so the Combiner step is fast.
Once the Dissolver and Atomizer are running, you have a steady supply of separated elements. That supply is what feeds the Combiner when you want to build a target material back up from its parts. Do not skip the storage stage; without it you will be manually shuttling items between machines and the chain stalls the moment you walk away.
