Setting Up Your First Flight Computer

Getting Started with Airborne Redstone Logic

To begin, place a Flight Management Computer or Micro Peripheral Extender on your aircraft. Connect peripheral cables from your ComputerCraft computer to your flight instruments—such as a Pitot Tube, Static Port, or Inertial Navigation System.

Attach cockpit controls like joysticks, throttles, foot pedals, and toggle switches to a Control Desk. These provide physical input for piloting.

Write Lua scripts in your computer terminal to read sensor data from the connected avionics and send commands to control your aircraft. You can also use the Redstone Transceiver to send wireless redstone signals across your airship through Create redstone link networks.

Add modular monitors and knobs to display real-time machine readings and adjust settings during flight.
