Using the Cooking Station and Food Recipes
Setting Up
Place a Cooking Station and open its interface. Cooking recipes use the mmorpg:food_shapeless type, meaning you drop ingredients in any order and the station handles the combination. You do not need a specific grid layout.
What You Can Cook
Food recipes produce consumables that restore hunger and often grant buffs. Combine raw ingredients from your farm or from mob drops. Because the recipe type is shapeless, experiment by placing ingredients you have on hand — the station will show valid outputs.
Combining With Potions
Cooking pairs well with the Alchemy Station. Brew Alchemy/Potion/Health/0 through Alchemy/Potion/Health/4 and Alchemy/Potion/Mana/0 through Alchemy/Potion/Mana/4 for combat sustain, then cook food for out-of-combat regeneration and buffs. Carry both in your Backpack/Normal.
Storage and Automation
Use a Backpack/Upgrade/Auto Sal0, Backpack/Upgrade/Auto Sal1, or Backpack/Upgrade/Auto Sal2 to auto-salvage junk drops while you cook. A Backpack/Upgrade/Trash0 clears unwanted items. A Backpack/Upgrade/Size0 through Backpack/Upgrade/Size4 expands your backpack so you can haul more ingredients.
Practical Loop
1. Harvest crops and collect meat.
2. Open the Cooking Station and add ingredients.
3. Store finished food in a Crate or Loot Crate near your base.
4. Keep a stack of cooked food on you before heading into combat zones.
