Customize Day and Night Sky Appearance
Open Shader Configuration
Access the Iris shader menu and find the Afterimage Shaders panel. Look for sky or celestial settings—these control how the custom hand-drawn sky art is displayed.
Adjust Sky Lighting and Color
You'll find sliders for sky brightness, color tone, and saturation. Increase brightness during day cycles if the custom artwork feels too dark, or reduce it for a moodier atmosphere. Adjust color saturation to make the hand-drawn art more or less vivid.
Some settings let you control the transition speed between day and night, affecting how quickly the sky shifts through its cycle.
Fine-Tune Ambient Light
Separate controls often exist for ambient light intensity—the overall glow that affects how well you can see during twilight hours. Lowering this creates a more dramatic, eerie feel; raising it helps with visibility during adventure gameplay. Test changes across multiple in-game days to see the full effect of your customizations.
