Configure the End Dimension Black Hole Effect

Locate End Dimension Settings

Open the Iris shader menu and find Afterimage Shaders options. Search for End-specific or dimension settings. The black hole skybox is a signature feature with its own configuration panel.

Adjust Black Hole Visibility and Size

You can control how prominent the black hole appears in the End sky. Increase its opacity to make it more visually dominant, or decrease it if it feels overwhelming. Some settings let you adjust the size or intensity of the gravitational distortion effect around it.

Fine-Tune Surrounding Sky Effects

The area around the black hole can be customized separately—adjust the color and intensity of the void-like space surrounding it. Control how much the black hole affects overall End lighting; stronger effects create more dramatic shadows and contrast.

Test in the End

Travel to the End dimension to see your changes in real-time. The effect is most visible when looking at the sky, especially from high ground or while flying. Adjust until the atmosphere matches your preferred balance between visual impact and gameplay visibility.
