Aim and Attack While Flying on Moving Vessels
How Camera Tilt Affects Combat
When standing on a tilted airship, your camera rotates with the deck. This means your crosshair, melee reach, and attack direction all align with your tilted view—not the world horizon. This lets you fight naturally while the vessel banks or climbs.
Attacking on a Tilted Deck
1. Board the moving contraption. Your camera will automatically tilt to match the vessel's angle.
2. Look at your target normally. Your crosshair points where you're actually looking, even if the deck is sideways.
3. Attack or interact. Melee hits, tool use, and block placement all work along your tilted line of sight.
4. Account for motion. Remember the vessel is moving—lead your shots if targeting external objects or mobs.
Disabling Tilt for Precision
If you need to aim straight at the horizon (for example, hitting a stationary target while banking hard), use the hotkey to pause camera tilting temporarily. Resume it when you're done.
Tip: Practice on slower turns first to get used to how your reach and attacks align with the tilted camera.
