Using the Infusion and Upgrade Kit Recipes

Infusion Basics

The mod includes an infusion recipe type used to produce gear such as Alacrity Bow, Ancient Bow, Atlantic Bow, Baron Bow, and weapons like Baron Sword and Baronator. Infusion recipes take a base item plus additional ingredients and are performed at the infusion setup rather than a normal crafting table. Gather every listed ingredient before you start, because infusion will not accept partial inputs. If a recipe calls for a processed material like Baronyte Ingot or Armour Plating, craft or smelt those first.

Upgrade Kits

Upgrade kit recipes form a separate progression path. They take an existing item and an upgrade kit to produce an improved version, so you do not lose the base item's role in your kit. Check the upgrade kit recipe for the specific item you want to improve, confirm you have the kit, then apply it. A practical order: pick one weapon or tool, gather its infusion ingredients, craft it, then save upgrade kits for that same item so you are not spreading resources across several half-finished upgrades. Smelting, blasting, smoking, and campfire cooking cover the food and material processing you will need along the way.
