Set Up for Infusion

Infusion is the mod's core crafting type, with 62 infusion recipes. It is not a normal crafting table recipe — it needs the infusion setup and the correct ingredients placed around it. Before you start, gather the exact items the recipe calls for; infusion recipes typically consume several distinct components at once.

Running an Infusion Recipe

Open the recipe viewer and search the item you want. Infusion recipes display their ingredient list and the catalyst item. Place the catalyst in the center slot and the listed ingredients in the surrounding positions, then trigger the infusion. The recipe completes and outputs the finished item. Because infusion recipes are numerous, always confirm the ingredient count — a missing component silently blocks the craft.

Common Infusion Outputs

Infusion produces weapons, armor, and utility items across the mod's tiers. Many of the named weapons and armor pieces in the registry, such as the Alacrity set and the Ancient Bow, are reached through infusion rather than a plain crafting grid. Treat infusion as the mid-game crafting tier: you graduate to it after basic crafting_shaped and crafting_shapeless recipes stop producing the gear you need. Keep a stock of AoA Essentia and Armour Plating nearby, as these recur across infusion recipes.
