Find and Mine Ancient Blocks

Ancient content centers on Ancient Rock, Ancient Tile Core, Ancient Tile Shrine, Ancient Banner, and Ancient Vines. These generate in Ancient-themed structures. Mine Ancient Rock and Ancient Tile Core with a suitable pickaxe, and collect Ancient Vines and Ancient Banner for decoration. Ancient Golem Spawn Egg can be found in the same theme.

Build With Archaic Variants

Archaic blocks form a full building set: Archaic Dirt, Archaic Glass, Archaic Ladder, Archaic Light, Archaic Tile, Archaic Tile (Small), Archaic Tile Node, and Archaic Tile Stream, each with slab, stair, and wall variants where listed. Craft the shapes you need at a stonecutter. Archaic Token is a separate progression item, not a building block.

Use Ancient Gear

Ancient-themed combat items include the Ancient Bow, Ancient Discharger, Ancient Bomber, and Ancient Ring. Upgrade them with the Ancient Upgrade Kit using the aoa3:upgrade_kit recipe type. If you want matching armor, the Archaic Boots, Archaic Chestplate, Archaic Helmet, and Archaic Leggings form a set. Pair Ancient weapons with Ancient Rock or Archaic Tile builds to keep a consistent theme while you explore.
