Turning Baobab Wood into Planks

Start with Baobab Wood and craft it into Baobab Planks. From those planks you can make the full wooden set: Baobab Slab, Baobab Stairs, Baobab Fence, Baobab Fence Gate, Baobab Door, Baobab Trapdoor, Baobab Button, and Baobab Pressure Plate. Each of these uses the standard shaped or shapeless wood recipes, so arrange planks the same way you would for any other wood type.

Signs, Boats, and Storage

Baobab Sign and Baobab Hanging Sign let you label chests and rooms. Baobab Boat and Baobab Chest Boat give you transport with built-in storage, which is useful when hauling materials back from a build site. A good workflow: craft a stack of Baobab Planks first, split it into slabs and stairs for the shell of the build, then use the leftovers for fences, a door, and a trapdoor. Save a few planks for a Sign and a Chest Boat so you can move finished goods without running back and forth. Keep one Baobab Button and one Pressure Plate on hand for redstone doors.
