Choosing and Upgrading Weapons and Armor

Weapon Lines

The registry includes several weapon families. Ranged options include Alacrity Bow, Ancient Bow, Apoco Rifle, Apoco Assault Rifle, Apoco Shower, Aqua Magnum, and Aqua Cannon. Staffs include Amber Staff and Aquatic Staff. Melee and hybrid options include Abyssro, Abominator, Ancient Discharger, and Amplifier. Pick a line and commit — upgrading a single weapon through its tier is cheaper than maintaining several at once.

Armor Sets

Armor comes in matched sets. The Alacrity set is Alacrity Helmet, Alacrity Chestplate, Alacrity Leggings, and Alacrity Boots. The Archaic set is Archaic Helmet, Archaic Chestplate, Archaic Leggings, and Archaic Boots. Achelos Helmet and Alacrity Boots are standalone pieces worth wearing alongside a set. Craft or infuse the full set before moving to the next tier, since partial sets leave obvious gaps.

Upgrading Gear

Use Upgrade Kits to push weapons and armor to the next tier. Abyssal Upgrade Kit, Ancient Upgrade Kit, and Apoco Upgrade Kit each apply through the upgrade_kit recipe type. Match the kit to the item's current tier, and keep a spare kit in your inventory before a boss fight so you can re-upgrade after a death. Armour Plating is a recurring component in armor recipes, so stock it before you start a set.
