How to Travel to Other Planets in Advanced Rocketry

Upgrading Your Rocket

A Tier 1 Rocket only reaches the Moon. To visit other planets, build a Tier 2 Rocket in the Rocket Assembling Machine. This requires Advanced Rocket Fins, an Advanced Rocket Engine, and an Advanced Guidance Computer, all crafted from Titanium Plates and Titanium Rods.

Titanium is obtained by smelting Titanium Ore in a Furnace or processing it in a Rolling Machine. You will need a steady supply.

Fuel and Life Support

Longer trips consume more Rocket Fuel. Expand your Fuel Refinery setup and store fuel in Fuel Tanks connected via Fluid Pipes. For life support, craft additional Oxygen Tanks and carry Oxygen canisters filled at an Oxygen Charger.

Selecting a Destination

Place your Tier 2 Rocket on a Launch Pad and link it to a Rocket Monitoring Station. Open the station's interface to see available destinations such as Mars, Venus, or Asteroids. Each has unique resources: Mars yields Desh Ore, Venus yields Sulfur, and Asteroids contain Dilithium Crystals.

Select your target and launch. On arrival, mine the local blocks and return with your cargo. Use Dilithium to craft advanced energy systems and Desh for higher-tier rockets.
