How to Build and Fuel a Rocket in Advanced Rocketry

Assembling the Rocket

Craft a Rocket Assembling Machine and place it on the ground. Open its GUI and select the Tier 1 Rocket blueprint. The machine requires Rocket Fins, a Rocket Engine, and a Guidance Computer to complete the build. Each of these components is crafted from Iron Plates and Iron Rods made in the Rolling Machine and Lathe.

Once assembly finishes, the rocket appears in the machine's output slot. Move it to your inventory.

Launch Pad and Fueling

Craft a Launch Pad and place it in an open area. Right-click the pad with the rocket to place it. Build a Fuel Refinery and feed it Coal or Oil to produce Rocket Fuel. Connect the refinery to the launch pad using Fluid Pipes.

Craft a Rocket Monitoring Station and place it near the pad. Open its interface to link it to your rocket. The station shows fuel level and destination options. Select the Moon as your first target.

Launching

Wear a full Space Suit with an Oxygen Tank equipped. Enter the monitoring station and press the launch button. The rocket will lift off and land on the Moon. Bring a Drill to mine Moon Rock and Moon Turf for use in advanced recipes.
