How to Craft Netherite-Emerald Gear

The Emerald Tier

Netherite-Emerald is a distinct tier from Netherite-Diamond. Its base item is Netherite-Emerald Ingot, and every Netherite-Emerald tool, weapon, and armor piece is produced through a smithing_transform recipe at a smithing table.

To make a Netherite-Emerald item, open your smithing table and combine a Netherite Ingot with an Emerald and the appropriate base item. The output is the Netherite-Emerald version of that item. You can produce Netherite-Emerald Helmet, Netherite-Emerald Chestplate, Netherite-Emerald Leggings, Netherite-Emerald Boots, Netherite-Emerald Sword, Netherite-Emerald Pickaxe, Netherite-Emerald Axe, Netherite-Emerald Shovel, Netherite-Emerald Hoe, and Netherite-Emerald Spear.

Planning Your Upgrades

Emeralds come from villagers and mountain biomes, so stockpile them before you start. Because every piece needs a Netherite Ingot, gather ancient debris and smelt it into Netherite Ingots first. Then run the smithing table one item at a time.

Prioritize the pieces you use most. A Netherite-Emerald Pickaxe and Netherite-Emerald Sword cover mining and combat. Add the full armor set afterward: Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, Boots.

Block Storage

Nine Netherite-Emerald Ingots combine into a Block of Netherite-Emerald via a crafting_shaped recipe. Store spare ingots this way to save chest space, and split the block back into ingots with a crafting_shapeless recipe when you need them.
