How to Build a Gas Turbine Setup

Controller and Structure

Place a Gas Turbine controller as the core of the multiblock. Build the turbine housing from Iron Frame and Iron Tubing, then attach a Gas Intake Valve, Fluid Intake Valve, and Fluid Output Valve to the controller face. The Gas Turbine controller only runs when its structure is valid, so connect every frame piece flush against the controller.

Fuel and Air Path

Route fuel into the Fuel/Air Mixer and feed air through a Gas Intake Valve. The Gas Mix Compressor pressurizes the mixture before it enters the Mixing Chamber. From the Mixing Chamber, pipe the mixed gas to the Gas Turbine controller. The turbine consumes the mix and produces rotation, which the controller converts into power.

Turbine and Output

Insert a Basic Turbine Rotor with Basic Turbine Blades into the Basic Turbine, or upgrade to Composite, Reinforced, Enhanced, or Advanced Turbine tiers using the matching Upgrade Kit. Higher-tier rotors and blades raise output. Attach a Power IO Module to the controller and run Redstone-Iron Wiring to a Power Capacitor. Use a Low Voltage Emitter, Medium Voltage Emitter, High Voltage Emitter, Extreme Voltage Emitter, or Insane Voltage Emitter to push power to your grid. Add a Redstone Control Module or Sensor Module to automate startup and shutdown.
