How to Cook Every Fish in Advanced Fishing

All seven fish items in Advanced Fishing are cooked, not eaten raw. You have three processing routes, and each one works on the same fish: campfire_cooking, smelting, and smoking. That means any fish you pull up can be turned into its cooked form at a campfire, a furnace, or a smoker.

Place the raw fish in the top slot of a furnace or smoker, or hold it and interact with a lit campfire. The output is the matching cooked item: Cooked Crucian, Cooked Eel, Cooked Jellyfish, Cooked Koi, Cooked Pike, or Cooked Сatfish.

Choosing Your Station

Use a campfire when you are fishing away from base and want to eat on the spot — no fuel needed, just a lit campfire block. Use a furnace when you already have fuel running and want to process a mixed batch. Use a smoker when you are processing fish in bulk and want the fastest cook time of the three.

Because all three recipe types accept the same inputs, you never need to convert between them. Catch fish, pick the nearest station, and cook. Stockpile cooked fish as your travel food so you are not carrying raw items that can spoil your inventory space.
