Campfire vs Furnace vs Smoker for Advanced Fishing Catches
Three Stations, Same Fish
Advanced Fishing registers three cooking recipe types: campfire_cooking, smelting, and smoking. Every raw fish you catch can go through any of them and come out as the same cooked item. The difference is purely practical — where you are, what fuel you have, and how fast you need the food.
Picking the Right One
Campfire. No fuel required. Light a campfire at your fishing spot and cook fish as you catch them. Best for eating on location and for trips where you do not want to carry coal.
Furnace. Uses fuel but processes a full stack. Best at base when you are cooking a mixed inventory alongside other smelting jobs.
Smoker. Uses fuel and cooks fastest of the three. Best when you have a large batch of fish and want them done quickly.
All three output the cooked forms: Cooked Crucian, Cooked Eel, Cooked Jellyfish, Cooked Koi, Cooked Pike, and Cooked Сatfish. Since the inputs and outputs match across stations, you can split a catch between a campfire and a furnace without any conversion step. Carry a campfire for travel, keep a smoker at base, and you cover both cases.
