How to Build Warning Signs with Caution Blocks

Choosing the right Caution block

Adorn adds eight Caution blocks: Caution: Bees, Caution: Blank, Caution: Helmet, Caution: No Entry, Caution: Rails, Caution: Reading, Caution: Sudden Drop, and Caution: Surprise. Each one is a shaped crafting recipe. Caution: Blank is the base sign — craft it first, then use it as the starting point for the labeled variants by combining it with the item or symbol that matches the warning you want.

Placing signs around your base

Use Caution: No Entry at doors and gateways you want players to avoid. Use Caution: Sudden Drop at the top of cliffs, mine shafts, and unlit stairwells. Use Caution: Rails along minecart tracks and station platforms. Use Caution: Bees near beehives and apiaries. Use Caution: Helmet at the entrance to dangerous mining areas. Use Caution: Reading in libraries and study rooms. Use Caution: Surprise for trap corridors and hidden rooms. Caution: Blank works as a generic sign anywhere you want a warning without a specific symbol. Mount them on walls, fence posts, or beside Picket Fence and Chain Link Fence. Pair them with Stone Torch lighting so the signs stay readable at night. Keep a stack of Caution: Blank in a Crate so you can craft new variants on site whenever a build needs a different warning.
