Enhance Colored Light from Torches and Light Sources
Locate Lighting Options
In Shader Options, find the section labeled for block lighting, colored light, or light emission. These settings control how torches, glowstone, and other light sources tint nearby surfaces.
Increase Light Saturation and Radius
Look for sliders controlling:
- Light Color Intensity: Boosts how vividly torches and lamps color their surroundings. Higher values make warm orange and cool blue light more visible on blocks.
- Light Spread Distance: Expands how far colored light reaches. Increase this to make torches illuminate larger areas with their hue.
Apply and Observe
Place torches in a dark room or cave and check how the warm glow spreads across stone and wood. Adjust until the effect feels cinematic without looking artificial. Remember that colored lighting works best in darker areas—bright daylight will wash out subtle tints. Test near water too, as colored light interacts with the shader's water system for extra visual depth.
