Choosing Between the Two

Fire Pits and Standing Torches are the larger, ground-based light blocks. The Large Versions

Craft the base block first, then build the - L version when you want a bigger centrepiece for a plaza, gate, or hall. Place Fire Pits on open floor and Standing Torches where you want a tall vertical flame.
