Pumping Fluids and XP with Pump Plus and Advanced Pump

Fluid Removal

Pump Plus and Advanced Pump remove fluids from an area. Place the pump and give it power or fuel as required by your setup. The pump draws liquids from the surrounding region into its internal storage or into connected tanks. Use LiquidSelector to choose which fluids the pump targets when multiple liquids are present. Advanced Pump handles larger volumes than Pump Plus.

Quarry Fluid Handling

When running a Quarry Plus, attach the Quarry Pump Module so the quarry clears fluids as it mines. This prevents lava and water from blocking the dig. For dedicated fluid extraction separate from mining, place Pump Plus or Advanced Pump directly over the liquid body.

Collecting Experience

Experience Pump for Quarry and Quarry Exp Collect Module gather XP produced during quarry operation. Attach them to the quarry so experience is captured rather than lost. The collected XP can be retrieved from the machine's storage.

Refining

Refinery Plus processes collected fluids into usable outputs. Route pumped liquids into Refinery Plus to convert them. Combine pumping, refining, and the quarry modules so a single mining operation handles solids, fluids, and XP together. Use StatusChecker to confirm the pump and refinery are active and to read their current state.
