How to Set Up and Run a Quarry Plus

Placing the Quarry

Place the Quarry Plus block on the ground where you want the mining area to begin. The Quarry Plus defines the working region, so position it at one corner of the area you want cleared.

Marking the Area

Use the Marker Plus or Flexible Marker to define the corners of the mining zone. The Flexible Marker lets you place markers freely, while Marker Plus works as a standard corner marker. Place markers at each corner of the rectangle you want the Quarry Plus to dig.

If you want a specific chunk-aligned area, use the Chunk Marker instead. Chunk Markers snap the mining region to chunk boundaries, which is useful when you want to clear whole chunks.

Powering and Upgrading

Once the area is marked, the Quarry Plus needs to run. Insert a Faster Work Module to speed up operation. If you want to collect experience from ores, add a Quarry Exp Collect Module. To handle fluids encountered while digging, install a Quarry Pump Module. To delete unwanted blocks or items, use the Void Module.

Checking Status

Place a StatusChecker to monitor the Quarry Plus. It reports the current state of the machine so you can confirm it is running and see what it is doing.

Adjusting Height

Use the Quarry Y Setter to control the Y level at which the Quarry Plus operates, letting you limit how deep it digs.
