How to Craft Every Bar Variant from Its Base Material

Wooden bars

Every wooden bar variant is crafted from its matching planks: Oak Bars from Oak Planks, Spruce Bars from Spruce Planks, Birch Bars from Birch Planks, Jungle Bars from Jungle Planks, Acacia Bars from Acacia Planks, Dark Oak Bars from Dark Oak Planks, Mangrove Bars from Mangrove Planks, Cherry Bars from Cherry Planks, Pale Oak Bars from Pale Oak Planks, Crimson Bars from Crimson Planks, and Warped Bars from Warped Planks.

Metal bars

• Iron Bars are crafted from Iron Ingots.
• Gold Bars are crafted from Gold Ingots.
• Copper Bars are crafted from Copper Ingots.
• Exposed Copper Bars, Weathered Copper Bars, and Oxidized Copper Bars are the later oxidation stages of Copper Bars.

Planning a crafting session

Gather the base materials first: logs for planks, and ore for ingots. Convert logs to planks, then craft planks into bars. Smelt raw ore into ingots, then craft ingots into bars. Because bars are crafted in batches, a small amount of base material yields a usable number of bars.

Storage and reuse

Keep each variant in its own chest or shulker box so you can grab the right one quickly. Label chests by wood type or metal. When a build is finished, return leftover bars to storage rather than leaving them in your inventory.
