Match Pattern to Theme

The mod gives you 25 patterns, and each one reads differently on a banner. Group them by the build they suit:

• Ocean and water: Anchor Banner Pattern, Kelp Banner Pattern, Prismarine Banner Pattern, Squid Banner Pattern, Trident Banner Pattern, Waterfall Banner Pattern.
• Nature and farming: Grass Banner Pattern, Mushroom Banner Pattern, Pumpkin Banner Pattern, Snowflake Banner Pattern.
• Combat and gear: Shield Banner Pattern, Sword Banner Pattern, Scales Banner Pattern, Chain Banner Pattern.
• Abstract and decorative: Balance Banner Pattern, Frame Banner Pattern, Hex Banner Pattern, Moon Banner Pattern, Squares Banner Pattern, Starburst Banner Pattern, Steps Banner Pattern, Suit Banner Pattern.
• Mob-inspired: Dragon Banner Pattern, Phantom Banner Pattern, Spider Banner Pattern.

Plan a Banner Set

Pick two or three patterns that share a theme and craft each one. Use a single dye color across the set so the banners read as a matched collection, then vary the pattern to add visual interest.

For a coastal base, combine Anchor Banner Pattern, Kelp Banner Pattern, and Waterfall Banner Pattern in blue. For a fortress, use Sword Banner Pattern, Shield Banner Pattern, and Chain Banner Pattern in red. For a garden, Grass Banner Pattern, Mushroom Banner Pattern, and Pumpkin Banner Pattern work well in green and orange.

Because each pattern is a reusable item, you only craft it once. Build a small library of the patterns you use most and keep them in a chest near your loom.
