Inspect the 3D Details on Your Workbenches

Activate the Resource Pack

First, ensure the Actually 3D Workbenches Model pack is selected in your Resource Packs menu. Open Settings > Resource Packs, find the mod in the Available list, and move it to Active. The pack works best when placed above vanilla resources.

Place and Examine Workbench Blocks

Craft or find any of the enhanced utility blocks: Crafting Table, Loom, Smithing Table, Stonecutter, Cartography Table, Fletching Table, or Lectern. Place them in your world and look closely at the top surface.

You'll see raised 3D tools and details that appear to float above the flat block face—saws, hammers, and carved elements now have physical depth. Rotate your view and move around the block to appreciate the layered texture work.

Best Viewing Angles

For the clearest view, position yourself at eye level with the block's top surface, then angle your camera slightly downward. This reveals the shadow and depth effects that make the tools look three-dimensional. The vanilla colors remain unchanged, so these blocks blend seamlessly into any build style.
