Make Water Look More Dynamic and Realistic

Locate Water Animation Settings

In Shader Options, find settings related to "Water," "Wave," or "Surface Animation." AbsulutCinema applies subtle wave movement to all water by default.

Adjust Wave Intensity

If water waves feel too subtle, increase the wave amplitude or frequency slider. For calmer water, reduce these values. Changes are visible immediately on lakes, oceans, and rivers.

Control Water Reflections

Many shader options include reflection strength for water surfaces. Increase this to make water reflect more of the sky and surroundings, creating a polished, reflective look. Decrease it for a flatter appearance.

Test in Different Biomes

Visit oceans, rivers, and small ponds to see how settings affect different water scales. Ocean waves often look more dramatic than river ripples, so your preference may vary by location.

Fine-Tune for Performance

If water animation causes framerate drops, reduce wave complexity or reflection quality. AbsulutCinema is optimized for weak hardware, but excessive water effects can still impact performance on very low-end systems.
