Maintain Smooth Framerates While Using Shaders
Check Current Performance
Enable the FPS counter (usually F3 or a launcher option) to see your baseline framerate. AbsulutCinema is designed for low-end systems, but your specific setup matters.
Reduce Shader Complexity
In Shader Options, look for settings like "Quality," "Detail Level," or "Performance Mode." Lowering these reduces visual effects while keeping the shader's signature soft bloom and color grading.
Disable Expensive Features
If framerates drop in dense biomes or large oceans, disable or reduce: shadow quality, reflection detail, water wave complexity, and bloom radius. Each setting you lower frees up GPU resources.
Adjust Render Distance Carefully
Shaders impact performance more at higher render distances. If you're struggling, lower your render distance before disabling shader features—this often gives better results.
Monitor in Challenging Areas
Test performance in dense forests, above oceans, and in caves with many light sources. These areas stress shaders most. If framerates stay stable here, you're good elsewhere.
Restart Game After Major Changes
Some shader settings require a game restart to fully apply. If performance doesn't improve after adjustments, restart and retest.
