How to Craft Stone, Brick, and Mineral Slabs, Stairs, and Walls

Stone family

Andesite, Basalt, Blackstone, Calcite, Clay, and Coal all have slab, stair, and wall variants. Andesite Slab, Andesite Stairs, Andesite Wall; Basalt Slab, Basalt Stairs, Basalt Wall; Blackstone Gate, Blackstone Trapdoor; Calcite Slab, Calcite Stairs, Calcite Wall; Clay Slab, Clay Stairs, Clay Wall; Coal Slab, Coal Stairs. Craft the slab from the base block, then the stairs from two slabs, or use the stonecutter to go straight from block to shape.

Bricks and tuff

Brick Wall, Bricks Cracked Stairs, and Bricks Mossy Stairs cover the brick family. Tuff has Chiseled Tuff Slab, Chiseled Tuff Stairs, Chiseled Tuff Wall, and Chiseled Tuff Bricks Slab, Chiseled Tuff Bricks Stairs, Chiseled Tuff Bricks Wall. Carved Stonebrick Wall is available for carved stone brick builds. Use the stonecutter on the base brick or tuff block to select the exact variant.

Amethyst and bone

Amethyst Slab, Amethyst Stairs, Amethyst Wall, and Amethyst Trapdoor are crafted from amethyst. Bone Slab, Bone Stairs, and Bone Wall are crafted from bone blocks. These are the non-stone mineral options and follow the same slab-then-stairs progression.

Resin

Chiseled Resin Slab, Chiseled Resin Stairs, and Chiseled Resin Wall are the resin variants. Craft them from chiseled resin using the same slab-first method or the stonecutter.

Plan a stone build

Choose one stone for the main mass, one brick for accents, and one mineral for trim. Craft slabs for the floor, stairs for the steps, and walls for the parapet, all from the same three materials.
