How to Craft Slabs, Stairs and Walls for Any Block

Check the recipe type first

Every slab, stair and wall in this mod comes from one of two recipe types: crafting_shaped or stonecutting. If the block you want to convert is a stone-family block, use a Stonecutter. If it is a wood, wool, glass, concrete or terracotta block, use a Crafting Table.

Stonecutter route

Place a Stonecutter and put the source block in the input slot. Pick the output you want from the list. This works for:

Basalt Slab, Basalt Stairs, Basalt Wall, Basalt Trapdoor, Basalt Gate
Blackstone Gate, Blackstone Trapdoor, Blackstone Brick Fence Gate, Blackstone Brick Trapdoor
Amethyst Slab, Amethyst Stairs, Amethyst Wall, Amethyst Trapdoor
Calcite, Clay, Coal, Bone, Blue Ice, Andesite Trapdoor, Cobblestone Gate
Chiseled Tuff, Chiseled Tuff Bricks, Chiseled Resin, Carved Stonebrick Wall, Bricks Cracked Stairs

Crafting Table route

For wood, wool, glass, concrete and terracotta variants, use the Crafting Table. Examples:

Match the source block to its family: Concrete to Concrete, Glass to Glass, Terracotta to Terracotta, Wool to Wool. Do not mix families.
