Every slab in the mod follows the same shape recipe: place the matching full block in a row across a crafting grid to get slabs. Supported slab materials include Amethyst Slab, Basalt Slab, Black Concrete Slab, Black Glass Slab, Black Terracotta Slab, Black Wool Slab, Block of Bamboo Slab, Blue Concrete Slab, Blue Glass Slab, Blue Ice Slab, Blue Terracotta Slab, Blue Wool Slab, Bone Slab, Brown Concrete Slab, Brown Glass Slab, Brown Mushroom Slab, Brown Terracotta Slab, Brown Wool Slab, Calcite Slab, Chiseled Resin Slab, Chiseled Tuff Bricks Slab, Chiseled Tuff Slab, Clay Slab, Coal Slab, and Coarse Dirt Slab.

Faster Route With a Stonecutter

If you have a stonecutter, skip the crafting grid. Place the full block into the stonecutter and select the slab output. This is the stonecutting recipe path and works for every stone-family slab such as Basalt Slab, Calcite Slab, Clay Slab, Coal Slab, Chiseled Tuff Slab, and Chiseled Tuff Bricks Slab. Stonecutting gives you exact counts without leftover blocks, so it is the better choice when you are building in bulk.

Stacking and Placement

Slabs place on the top or bottom half of a block depending on where you aim. Combine two slabs in the same block space to form a full block again. Use this to make seamless floors, half-step stairs, and layered walls with the same material as your main build.
