Building with Wool Slabs, Stairs and Walls

What you can make

Wool now has full slab, stair and wall variants in every colour present in the mod:

• Black Wool Slab, Black Wool Stairs, Black Wool Wall
• Blue Wool Slab, Blue Wool Stairs, Blue Wool Wall
• Brown Wool Slab, Brown Wool Stairs, Brown Wool Wall

Each is crafted from the matching wool colour. Keep the colour consistent — a Black Wool Slab needs black wool, not brown.

Practical uses

Wool stairs give you soft-looking roof edges and interior steps that do not read as stone. Wool slabs work as low dividers, seat-height blocks, and carpet-adjacent trim. Wool walls make thin partitions that still match a wool build.

Because these are wool-family blocks, craft them at a Crafting Table, not a Stonecutter.

Colour blocking

Combine a Wool Wall in one colour with a Wool Slab in another to outline a room without using full blocks. For example, run Blue Wool Wall along the base of a wall and cap it with Black Wool Slab. The stair variant lets you turn a corner cleanly.

Mixing with other families

Wool Slab, Stairs and Wall sit alongside Concrete, Glass and Terracotta versions of the same shapes. If you want a harder edge, swap Wool for Concrete; if you want transparency, swap to Glass. All three families use the same Crafting Table route, so the workflow does not change.
