Switch Between Visual Presets
Accessing the Shader Settings
Open your shader options menu while in-game. This is typically found in Video Settings > Shaders depending on your launcher. Look for the AALab Shaders configuration panel.
Choosing a Preset
AALab Shaders provides several visual profiles designed for different hardware and aesthetic preferences:
- Potato/Low presets — Use these if you're playing on older hardware or want maximum performance. These strip back visual effects while keeping anti-aliasing active.
- Medium presets — A balanced option for standard gaming PCs.
- High/Fantasy presets — Enable enhanced lighting and visual effects for newer hardware. Fantasy presets add stylized, exaggerated lighting.
- Cursed presets — Experimental visual modes that create unusual, distorted appearances for creative or novelty purposes.
Applying Your Choice
Select your desired preset from the menu and confirm. The changes apply immediately—you'll see edge smoothing and lighting adjust in real-time. If performance drops, switch to a lighter preset. You can swap presets at any time without restarting your world.
