Set Up Your First Farm

Gathering Seeds

Start by exploring your surroundings to find wild plants and seeds. Break tall grass and vegetation to collect starter seeds. Look for patches of natural plants in nearby biomes—these will give you the initial crops you need.

Preparing Farmland

Find a flat area near water for your farm. Use a hoe on dirt or grass blocks to create farmland. Water is essential for crops to grow, so position your farm within a few blocks of a water source. You can use water channels or place water blocks directly in your farm layout.

Planting and Harvesting

Once your farmland is ready, place seeds in the tilled blocks. The mod includes many new crop varieties beyond vanilla options. Harvest fully grown crops by breaking them to collect both the produce and seeds for replanting.

Expanding Your Farm

As you gather more seeds, expand your farmland gradually. Organize different crops into sections to keep your farm neat and easy to manage. Consider building a small storage area nearby to keep your harvested produce organized for cooking projects.
