Identify Dropped Spawn Eggs on the Ground

Spotting Eggs When They Drop

When you drop a spawn egg or it falls from a container, this resource pack renders it as a floating 3D mob model on the ground. This makes dropped eggs much easier to spot and identify.

How to Use This

1. Drop a spawn egg by pressing Q (or your drop key) while holding it.

2. Watch it land and render as a 3D mob figure floating above the ground.

3. Scan the area to find dropped eggs—the 3D models stand out more than flat textures.

4. Pick it up by walking over it or clicking it.

Practical Applications

  • Finding lost eggs: If you accidentally drop an egg in a cluttered area, the 3D model is much more visible.
  • Organizing drops: When multiple eggs fall at once (like from a broken container), you can quickly identify which is which.
  • Sorting mob farms: If eggs spill during setup, the 3D figures help you sort them back into the right containers.

Tips

  • The 3D models render at a reasonable distance, so you can spot dropped eggs from several blocks away.
  • This works on any surface—ground, water, or even on top of blocks.
